Earlier in March, Finlay Foods had the opportunity to attend two events organised by Invest NI.

Joe Battles, our Technical Sales Representative, attended the Gluten Free and Free from Bakery Conference taking place in Campden BRI in Chipping Campden.  The two day conference focussed on the exponential growth in consumer demand for ‘gluten free’ and ‘free from’ bakery products.  This international conference included academics and speakers from Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium as well as the UK.

Our partners CSM Bakery Solutions presented to delegates how they have capitalised on the opportunities the gluten free market has provided by the conversion of their Ashington Bakery to exclusively produce gluten free cakes for the UK and European market.
